::Underwhelming selection despite it being a flagship store, with really lackluster and so-so service. I asked for a recently released box set, but they didn't have it, and instead of asking me if I wanted to order it, they just left it at that. I'm not even sure if they have the right information on releases, they insisted that a DVD that I wanted was never released, but quick check on the internet on the official site showed that it was released in September 2017. It's a really far cry from the HMVs I've been to in London and Tokyo, and even the (now closed) one they used to have in Elements Hong Kong.

::These types of megastores lost their market shares a long time ago. It was interesting to see how they had put on sale a few 45s (but way above their ceiling values)

::Siizable shop good product range but apart from CDs I think other products are just average for example mainly lower end audio products sold at premium pricing. The shop has nice decor over 3 floors but the top floor (4th) is a mainly a bar and restaurant , with a strong smell of urine for some reason, which is a big turn off. I hope it is just short term as I am sure this will ruin the shop (at least 4th floor) very fast.

::I had friends with me today going to this HMV in Causeway Bay, we bought 2 Razor earphones in the end. But while looking around for earphone for myself, we noticed one staff following us around. He even lean over a friend of mine to see what he was holding. Every moment we touched something to take a look, he would go back to it and check if we stole something. When my friend went to purchase those 2 earphones, that staff ran after him to the cashier to see if he was paying. Honestly if he was stealing it, he wouldn’t walk to the cashier now would he. We also noticed he wasn’t following any other chinese or hongkong people. Now that, i call racist. I hope you guys at HMV Causeway Bay work on that problem. You can watch us if you think we are stealing but try not to invade our personal space.

::Great selection of current music here. Came here all the way from Singapore to binge on the latest music. Gotten my Stefanie sun, a-mei, Li hom, Gin Lee, Stephen chow tvb drama series all from here. Offerings are priced reasonable for Singaporean shoppers like me because we have very little CD shops in our sunny island. A great place to fill up your music catalogue if you are into current music and such. They have a good selection of vinyl as well. Caught a glimpse of Gin Lee who was doing autograph signing when I was there!
