  The older barber completely ruined my hair. Gave me a buzz cut like I’m going to the army. They do not listen and pretend they don’t understand.

  one star because the shop looks nice from the outside ... i thought this place would be the antidote to all those try-too-hard new-school barbershops that have opened up. i really wanted to like this place, except it was raining. so the owner didn't bother open the shop. despite my appointment. and he left me stood in the rain. when i called he said he had sent me a text message. a text message!? but we both know i didn't receive any text message. he could have apologised. he could have offered to make it up in another way. except he didn't do either. if i were one of his 'generous friends' backing him financially i would be worried because he doesn't seem to have a clue about customer service. which is a shame because hong kong could do with a place like this. i'll go back to my old shanghai barbers in cwb. PULL YOUR SOCKS UP, SUNSHINE.
