Good service but quite slow. You can find better and cheaper service in the area!

Went here on a Sunday evening for just a regular shampoo and blow dry to get ready on a date. The place looked decent with a good price so I tried it out and my experience was terrible. First of all, I wasn't greeted at all and everybody just looked miserable (I said hi and I'm naturally a friendly and bubbly person) and the atmosphere was dull. Then the man who washed my hair was so rough and he didn't care how he washed my hair although I asked him to be gentle. The lady who did my hair was worse. Thank goodness my hair was alright but I requested to blow dry straight and she was so rough, gave a moody look the entire time like as if I did something so bad to her and was so rough on my hair. Since I was already annoyed of the service I decided to just forget about it. Oh what's worse? Afterwards she just said "ok done" and LEFT, I was still sitting there with the styling jacket on wondering if I can go or not? Then when I approached her to say thank you she acted as if she didn't see me at all. There, I thought like - no tips. My 10 years of sitting in different salons in any place or country and this is the first salon that I sadly didn't tip. If you can't do a simple blow dry properly then I won't trust your company in any service nor will I want to return especially with the sad and moody atmosphere. Didn't care at all.

Needed a haircut while visiting HK. Very reasonable price $138 HKD (~$18 USD) for shampoo, head massage, cut, blow-dry, and style. I walked in off the street no appt, seated immediately. Got the same treatment as all the other locals. Sufficient English spoken. Showed the stylist a picture of a new, fun do and he got it perfectly. I had a month of growth and have typical coarse, straight black Asian hair and he was very good with both clipper, fade, and scissor work. I saw three other similarly trendy salons/barbers afterwards in Soho and Central for same service at $200+ HKD. Very happy, thanks!
