::Went for afternoon tea. I was really looking forward to this after a long, rainy day. The food and desserts did not represent the price we paid. Overly floral to the point of giving me a headache, dry, and stale. The first waitress helping us was kind and attentive, but halfway through another woman replaced her. This new woman was unfriendly and came off as cold and annoyed. This was our biggest disappointment of our trip to Hong Kong. Find an afternoon tea some place else!

::Great location very central to all places. Arrived after a long day of travel and warmly greeted by Sonia who efficiently managed our check-in. Staff very attentive and easily accessible when needed. Comfortable rooms and a terrific breakfast buffet each day. Highly recommend. Carole Australia

::The hotel is very nice, the staff are all helpful and courteous, the room was serviced multiple times a day and everything was immaculate with water bottles and fruit refreshed, the included breakfast suits all tastes. The subway entrance across the street was handy and a large set of malls were only a block away. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

::Great hotel great service great location we always stay here while in Hong Kong. However on this occasion I think the young lady at concierge clearly needs more training. Ask her for a parcel after getting message to collect she made no effort to find it just tells me there isn't any parcel than when I said I'm sure there is another staff have to help her to look for it wasting customers time and did not apologize at all. Than upon checking out ask same lady to mail a letter for me she look at me and had no idea what to do. So I ask her for a stamp ask her to put it on the letter than she realized what I want her to do. However I'm still not sure if the letter was put in mail.

::This is a review for the hotel. While the service is great, I've had to deal with two separate smoking incidents during the same stay, thus the two stars. The first incidence is the staff giving me a room with a strong smoke odor in it. It hit me hard upon walking into the room. I called to complain and was told by the staff that the hotel is a non-smoking hotel and all rooms are non-smoking. The cleaning lady told me it was a "scent" they sprayed into the air. Two words: B.S. The odor persisted all night. Then in the morning I called to have my room changed which turned out to be odor free. Two nights later, a little after midnight, I smelled strong cigarette smoke coming through the vents. Some dumb asses were smoking in their rooms and the shared vent was picking it up. Or some workers were smoking next to the air intake. Non-smoking my ass! I called to complain and they said they would investigate, but who the hell knows if anything will come of it. It's 3AM and this review came out of my frustration with this smoking hotel. [update] The manager apologized for the smoke personally, which I appreciate so I'm raising the review by a star. Cantonese people do love their cigarettes though so I can imagine it's hard to enforce. But a strict smoke fee policy I do believe can take care of it if the cleaning staff reports cigarette smells while cleaning.
