Delicious egg tarts. If you like shortbread style tart shells rather than puff pastry, this is a must try when you visit Hong Kong.

That egg tart place. If you like egg tarts. They're shiny. But they're egg tarts. Kinda more runny and not-cooked than I expected. But worth a try.

Strange, on Google Maps it's just shown as Egg Tart. I guess that's what it's famous for. Small shop nestled unassumingly on a small street. If not for the queue outside the shop I'd have probably miss it. Join the queue and buy some egg tarts; you won't regret it. The egg tarts are usually hot off the oven (well, probably the egg tarts don't have time to cool down before being snapped up by hungry customers), so it's really nice and hot. The skin is crusty and flaky, while the egg custard is warm, smooth and gooey. It's also not too sweet. It's one of the things that one should try while in Hong Kong.

Visited at 8am on a Sunday morning and there was blissfully no crowd. The egg tart lives up to reputation, not overly sweet, with a crusty that's slightly crunchy and fragrant. Definitely one of the best egg tarts I ever had!

Gathering from the little crowd that formed outside this establishment I figured this place must have earned a cult status of some kind so I decided to join the line to try out their specialty egg tart. It's served warm & fresh with a good balance of silky custard & crunchy tart casing. I personally found it to be slightly too sweet but that won't stop me from buying them in the future for friends & family.
