  The macaroons are below average. The filling is dense and thick and the macaroon is soft not crunchy. Also the minimum order is 7 pieces, they refused to sell one piece which was all my daughter wanted. There are better places to go for (1) better customer service and (2) better taste.

  The macarons here are NOTHING like they are in Paris/London, let alone the near-double price tag. Soggy skin, floury filling, and overly sweet taste. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

  Specifically came here for the macarons, which were good, but not nearly as well-made as I imagined (and expected) they'd be. Having tried these--and a few in Yountville--I have to say that Bottega Louie's in Los Angeles still makes the most perfect looking (and tastiest) macarons.

  How come so called "luxury goodies" contain low cost ingredients such as cage-hens eggs??? YUCK! Is animal suffering part of the price to pay in Pierre Hermé shops? The largest groups, even discount supermarkets, have made the commitment to banish such eggs, but not the Pierre Hermé group. SHAME! 2 w come so called "luxury goodies" are made of low cost ingredients? Such as

  Excellent and varied selection of macarons, cookies, cakes, and jams. Shame you can’t have them all! Shop itself is a wonderful place to visit: excellent window and shelf displays; fantastic use of colors. Very helpful staff.
