  Upon instructions of Philippine revolutionary leader Emilio Aguinaldo, the first national flag of the Philippines was sewn in a rented house of Don Felipe and Marcela Agoncillo at 535 Morrison Hill Road. The residence was frequented by other Filipino revolutionaries, including the Agoncillo family, working to topple the Spanish regime back in their homeland Philippines. But the house has long been torn down. (The finished flag was eventually smuggled into the Philippines during the final months of the revolution against Spain and was waved at the balcony of Aguinaldo's residence in Kawit, Cavite as declaration of independence of the country from three centuries of Spanish rule on June 12, 1898). A marker now stands on the western fringe of the Morrison Hill Road Playground to commemorate the historical place where the flag was made.

  Morrison Hill Road Playground has a legacy skatepark from the 80's. It is basically a track with bumps on it, with a part of the track going down hill into a banked turn. This has become a legendary skate spot featured in many skate videos and many famous skateboard pros have been here. Recently, pro skateboarder Torey Pudwell called this place "Flat bar heaven" and he said this was one of his favorite spots ever. Located in the city, 10 min walk from Causeway Bay MTR station ( times square ) , its a must visit if you are a skateboarder visiting Hong Kong.
