  Egg tarts fresh out of the oven at HK$3 a piece (Dec2017 update: Price of my favorite "flaky crust" egg tart is now $3.50 albeit being slightly larger than before.) Local tea time favorites such as cocktail buns or "pineapple" buns can also be had for $3 apiece, arguably the best price anywhere. Don't expect comfy seating here. In fact, this is a no nonsense pick-pay-go place. You get a fantastic dose of nostalgic HK and the simple pleasure of having freshly baked treats for a song.
