Simple but brilliant place if you are looking for classic HKese quick meal. The pineapple bun was one of the very best in town. Despite backing by one of the restaurant chain, it still gives you a flavor and feeling of homemade food stores of old times.

Sat down, ordered the simplest pan fried beef noodles. Waited 15 min, no food, asked the waitress to check on it. It isn't even busy, should not take this long. After checking she came back and said it will take longer. When I asked how long, she said the chef forgot. So I said fine, then how long starting from this point forward, because she keeps asking me to change the order. Only when she realized I have no intention to change my order did she say they just don't have it and no one has bothered to let me know from when the order was entered to when they realize it wasn't available, which would have been probably 2 minutes since the order is placed and the chef see it popping up on the screen. Ridiculous! She saw how my face completely darkened and insist on given me a bun to eat so I don't go empty stomached. While I appreciate her attempt to pacify the situation, it was just ridiculous. My mini bus stop is just the street over, and now I will never go back

A local Hong Kong style cha chan teng. Not a traditional but modified one but you can get all stuff on menu. The polo and cocktail buns are really good as they are all freshly baked. Though a bit higher than average, still a good choice to taste.

Newly opened HK local restaurant, the food is average and the environment is comfortable. This is suitable for a quick meal.

A new Hong Kong styled coffee shop (cha chaan teng) in the heart of Causeway Bay. Tried their egg tart and pineapple bun which were both relatively expensive. But they were really well made. Their breakfast, however, was just average, also quite pricey.
