::Tried the weekend buffet here. It’s 780 HKD per head but the food is so good. Love the seafood, beef and dessert. Also got a wide range of sakes. The only disadvantage is the price.

::Tried the teppanyaki yesterday, choosing the tasting menu. Very good food and services.

::We ate at the Teppanroom, which is a stunning 16-seater room that serves contemporary teppanyaki. It's wasn't too busy when we went, so it was almost like a private dining experience. The food is absolutely amazing. It's the first restaurant I have eaten in Hong Kong on which I feel really deserves a Michelin star (and I have eaten in a 3 star Michelin HK restaurant that I feel deserves none). On the menu, everything we ate was beautiful and perfectly cooked. Our favourites were the wagyu beef, the Iberico pork loin, wagyu curried rice, the foie gras and the flambé pineapple. Bottom line, you can't go wrong eating here for a special occasion.

::Good if not exceptional Japanese cuisine for dinner; sashimi (cut too thick) and tempura (batter too thick) are a step short by saga Beef is terrific. Popular lunch buffet on weekends is a good deal although the cramped set up creates a lot of time wasted standing in line.
