  I've been on the hunt to find the best egg tarts in Hong Kong, and while I wouldn't call myself an connoisseur, these are definitely the ones at the top of my list.

  Best egg tart I have eaten in Hong Kong. Flaky crust and rich firm center. No queue, and the lady was really friendly and helpful even though we couldn't speak cantonese.

  I decided to visit this small local bakery after the strong recommendation from my colleague who grew up in this town. It was first time trying HK style egg tart, and I absolutely loved it! Crispy tart lasted till the next day in the fridge. I don't mind walking half an hour to get to this place :)
