  I went to learn about buying a pair of 龍鳳胎 and they were patient in explaining to me the differences. But when they showed me the wedding band selection and when I told them I preferred platinum over 18k white gold, one of the sales made up some BS about how marriage is about a journey and the tarnishing of the 18k white gold symbolises the journey through marriage. Each scratch and tarnish represents a milestone. Then they said they can refurbish for a fee. Probably wouldn't go back but the initial great experience was ruined by a pathetic attempt to justify how 18k white gold is superior to platinum because it scratches and tarnishes easier, and will need regular maintenance.
