  Bread & Beast is a sandwich specialist on Swatow Street in Wanchai. This is a simple place which offers up 6 hearty sandwiches and a handful of sides (fries, chips and brussel sprouts) at reasonable prices. Ate here back in January and am still looking forward to my next return lunch here. Had lunch here recently and very much enjoyed the Kentucky San (HK$78) which was two pieces of fried chicken breast served on ciabatta with a curry mayo spread, pickled ginger and white cabbage shreds. This was an attractive and delicious sandwich, one worth returning for. I also enjoyed my side of fried Brussels sprouts served with a caramel fish sauce with chili and lime (HK$78). This was also very, very good and a large serving size. Drink prices are fine at Bread & Beast and there is enough seating for around 12-15 diners at a time. Overall, very pleased with my recent lunch at Bread & Beast. They are dishing out some hearty and delicious sandwiches here. I'll be back and probably soon.

  to be honest... it was really nice. food was a surprise. have to go there again and again. looking forward for renovation and maybe even more surprises from the small kitchen

  Great sandwich but the waiting time was awful. You don't want to walk in here when you're really hungry. There was live music which made the atmosphere lively.

  Great sandwiches. Like the name suggest, great bread and juicy meat. Only wish there's more veg to balance the meal.
