This place is a restaurant, but I only tried their egg tarts. And it's definitely a must try if you're in the area! Gold Garden Café sells their milk egg tarts for $5.5 HKD, which is a little more expensive than the usual egg tart that you can find amongst the many different bakeries in Hong Kong. But is it worth it? YES, especially when it's still under $1 USD! They're made fresh every so often, and seeing the glistening egg yolk from the egg tart definitely sold me. If you're able to, eat it while it's still warm. I think this was the best egg tart I have ever tasted. And only because there was so much stacked inside that egg tart. The egg yolk was the thickest and heftiest amount of egg yolk I have ever seen piled on top of a crust. I bit into it and was shocked at the height of the egg yolk. And it was good! And the flaky crust - still warm, super flaky, and really buttery. The crust melted in my mouth - it was that thin. But even so, the crust was packed into layers and layers so that you got your money's worth. I usually like eating my egg tarts by digging into the egg yolk and saving the crust for last (best for last!), but I couldn't even do that with this egg tart - it was too good to eat my own way, and I had to bite into it with both the egg and the crust so that I could get that perfect combo of the sweetness and smoothness of the egg mixed with the flakiness and buttery goodness of the crust. tl;dr - You MUST get an egg tart from this place if you're ever in Cheung Sha Wan. Their "milk" egg tart definitely stands out from all other egg tarts in my opinion.

I quite like the wonton noodle soup here. The noodles are very toothy, though the wontons and the soup weren't anything too special, and the plate of vegetables I got was ordinary.
