  Wonderful service experience. Better than Kwong Wah Hospital with regard to the effectiveness and careness of medical staff on dealing with emergency cases.

  Brought my 5 years old to the A&E and diagnosed with tibia fracture. Stayed in the pediatric ward for a day to get the cast done. Though we need to share it with another patient, IMO the ward is quite spacious especially given this is in Hong Kong. The food provided by the hospital is not good, however, given the fee per day of staying in the hospital is HK$60 (less than USD10), I would say it has been very generous that they provide food. The medical treatment is professional and the doctors and nurses are quite nice. Through conversations with their medical staff, as a parent I feel comfortable of having my girl treated here.

  Believe it is appropriate to bring up this case for negligence by Dr Yu Suk Mui in General Medical Clinic at Caritas Medical Centre last week. If same case happen in the United State, she could be sued for wrong diagnosis of hypertension prescribing Paracetamol. My domestic helper informed the doctor of constant headaches, dizziness and nausea with blood pressure 140/93 which was recorded that day. Instead of asking more questions from the patient, she raised her voice saying at blood pressure 140, it is impossible to have headaches, she mentioned headaches only come at 180??? Doctor did not realize I was the employer until towards the end as we have masks on. Same day I took my helper to family doctor and was diagnosed hypertension. This week we went to another Government medical clinic and was prescribed hypertension medicine followed by Blood Taking, Nurse Assessment and Intervention. I made a special trip yesterday to Caritas Patient Feedback Office to inform them of this case.

  The staff is rude and racist. Saw them laugh at and make fun of patients that were crying out in pain. 0/10 would not recommend this hospital to anyone, even if you are dying.

  Good staff , services and facilities. But the treatment is very costly for foreigners without HKID and they will delay the treatment to get more money from such patients. My mother had left elbow fracture, they would have operated in 1 day and dismissed. But they made many excuses and delayed the operation and my mother had to stay for 4 days. At the end the treatment was nicely done and she is able to recover from injury. Thanks to caritas staff for the services.
