Discovered Cafe 103 as a top listed place for high tea; chose it for offer of grand views and a Ritz Carlton experience. Views were good not grand, service friendly but under-attentive, and food satisfactory but under-impressive. Best views are at either end of floor, with floor-to-ceiling windows. We were grateful to get a table at the balcony edge, as we did not have a reservation. However, decorative metal grating obscures the majesty of Hong Kong Island; pity they can't be retracted or a less obtrusive feature put in place. Got a pleasant downward view of Star Ferry terminal and visiting cruise ship. Service was welcoming and friendly, with an introduction to the Godiva biscuit offering. Tea and food arrived in reasonable time, and waitress kindly took a photo of us. As subsequent waitress topped up my partner's tea pot with more hot water, I regretted getting hazelnut hot chocolate -- while it was delicious, no refill offer here! Yet there's only so much hot water you can refill a tea pot; complimentary fresh pots of new tea should be provided (considering the price of this service). The sweet biscuits and savoury sandwiches were good, but nothing to write home about. The chocolate scones with chocolate raspberry jam stood out, as did the green tea biscuit. We weren't in a rush, but had to wait a while to get our bill. But I left with a high note -- the views from the gentlemen's toilets are jaw dropping awesome. Best view I've ever had from a urinal!

I believe it’s one of the highest restaurants in the world! The view is incredible!!! Make sure you come there in the evening before the sunset and stay for the dinner, while watching the night changes the view! Our waiter was very punctual and polite! Service wise this one of the best places in Hong-Kong! Food was nice as well, but not really filling... maybe shouldn’t have come here feeing that hungry!!!

The service was good because I celebrated my Bday there and the staff knew it so he gave me an extra plate of cakes. And the view was absolutely breathtaking but the afternoon tea tasted very average,It’s not worth for the price.I feel like it offered too many desserts.Only paid for the view and service.

If there is a negative star rating, I would give -10 stars. Maybe it should only stay to be a cafe that only serve coffee, not a restaurant serving buffet. I went there for a dinner buffet on 12 Jun 2018. It is worse than the buffet at a 3 star hotel or even average Japanese buffet in HK. We got 5 people and all of them agree that the food there is terrible. Not sure how it earned the stars from, may be it was once a good restaurant, but right now it is a totally irrelevant. Don't trust the ratings. Seafood was not fresh. It was very dry and taste as plain as rubber. Food choices were minimal, only 4 types of sashimi and plain as well. Seats were limited where only a couple with window side views. It is technically a runway rather then a restaurant. Services are comparable to an average HK style canteen. We were asked to fit into a table for 4 given that we have 5 people. The waitress still insisted that it can sit 5 people, but it is obvious that the fifth table cloth was covering half of the other two. We were only provided with an extra retractable table to the original one. Can you imagine this with a so-called five-star hotel restaurant? Maybe suitable for a cafe only, but definitely not for a dinner buffet. It cost HK$7xx, I won't go there again even if it is free.

Incredible. We did the tea service here and it was one of the highlights of our trip. It's on the 103rd story of the hotel so the views are ridiculous. We had nearly the entire place to ourselves, and the tea and food choices were ridiculously diverse and incredibly tasty. It's definitely a must-see if you're in Hong Kong. Make your reservations through email and you won't have a problem.
