Love the food there. But prepare for the long queue. Also, they close on Thursdays.

A classic Hong Kong food stall selling tasty fish ball, fish cake and beef brisket which is welcome by local people as well as tourist. A family run business founded in 1966. There is another shop nearby with similar name which is opened by staff of the same years ago. You need to remember that it closes on every Thursday unless it is a public holiday. From now on, deep fried fish skin is only available on Sunday. It is extremely busy and you are expected to join the long queue unless you dine before 11:00 or after 16:00. Better to go with small group instead of a big one to avoid long waiting time. Fish cake and beef brisket with soy sauced stirred flat noodle is the signature item where you cannot miss. The sliced butter toast is also very good and you can try one if one bowl of noodles is not good enough. The price is very reasonable and you will get everything value for money. If you order take-away items, remember to separate the soup with the noodles. Staff are also very friendly but try not to bother them or better make up your mind before order in particular during peak hours. You may occasionally bump into local celebrities.

Service was unexpectedly good. Food was delicious and was worth the wait. Yea, expect to queue - especially on weekends. Check the opening hours as they close quite early.

I came in near closing time and had the fish ball and fish cake with thin noodles and the 4 item special with wide noodles. They were both tasty but not amazing, partially because I felt my soup was lukewarm. Perhaps this was because they were closing up shop and I was getting the last of the day's soup... Also, I liked the thin noodles better than the flat noodles.

A very popular noodle-place in Shau Kei Wan; this place was especially busy during the weekends. The noodle stall closed before dinner time, and people needed to line up for along a narrow pavement. On Lee was famous for its sliced beef noodles; for those who eat no beef should try their fish cake slice noodles. If you were "Asian enough", you may love their deep fried fish skin. Yes, I meant the skin of descaled fish. It may sound gross but tasted like thick potato chips indeed. You may order toasts or sandwiches, which were good there, and these were good match for Vitasoy - a local soy bean drink.
